What do you do when your faith is on low–when it seems like God has turned a deaf ear to your prayer?  We walk by faith and not by sight, but how do we find the strength to stand, yet alone walk, when the bruises that we suffered from stumbling in the dark are so painful, they challenge our strength?  Some may say that’s when we dig deep and dig our heels in.  But what if the last round was all we had in us?  That’s when we close our eyes, fold our arms and fall back so that Jesus can catch us.

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.  They will soar high on wings like eagles.  They will run and not grow weary.  They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)

28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 (NLT)

3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.

Hebrews 12:3 (NLT)
